Transforming the way we do Business
Ecorntech is a green technology innovator
that is using a revolutionary fiber material made from corn stover,
the world’s largest agricultural residue, to produce products
traditionally manufactured with wood-fiber. Ecornfiber™ is
an intermediary product sold to manufacturers of composite board
materials (medium density fiberboard [MDF], partical board, and
oriented strand board [OSB]), and pulp for paper products.
MDF, OSB, partical board and paper are used
worldwide and are today made of wood-fiber. Ecornfiber costs
considerably less compared to traditional wood-fiber and
consists of a unique formula based on corn stover and special
resins. The global market for wood-fiber exceeds $200 billion,
yet wood-fiber is in short supply. In the US alone, paper production
for domestic use and export exceeds $50 billion, and the US fiberboard
market for domestic use and export exceeds $35 billion for a
combined US market of over $85 billion.
The benefits of Ecorntech's green technology and expertise extend to every aspect of the manufacturing process – from aggregation of raw material, to the creation of finished products in our customers' mills and factories. The qualities of Ecornfiber as a raw material in combination with our propriety technology, allow our customers to reduce their energy and chemical costs during manufacturing, enabling them to streamline their methods and reduce their overhead even further.
The Green Technology Revolution
Ecorntech's product lines are the result of a multi-million dollar research and development program carried out in conjunction with the U.S Department of Agriculture's Forest Product Laboratory. Our technology applies to the production of Composite Board and MDF in a range of thicknesses; as well as a multitude of paper products including high quality white printer paper, cardboard, and container paper used to carry liquids.
All of Ecorntech's technological "know-how" has
been tested in the U.S. Forest Products laboratory and have produced
USDA certified paper and engineered board. All of our product
samples are pilot production grade and manufactured using Ecornfiber.
